Dear Partners in Education,

A new breakthrough product has emerged in the educational field. ABC Educate Me would like to invite you to view our educational software program unlike no other. ABC Educate Me is an exclusive online distributor of Eduss. Eduss is a computer based integrated learning system that acts as a virtual tutor to assist teachers in helping students improve their educational learning and scores. ABC Educate Me together with Eduss would like to become a part of your curriculum.

Our learning system incorporates many features not found in current educational software products. Schools can set their standards whether it's the Leave No Child Behind Act passed by the federal government in 2002, the educational standards of any State, or school district. ABC Educate Me performs an in-depth assessment of a student that enables the teachers to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each individual student in various areas. Based upon the assessment, students can use the automated tutor with unlimited exercises to learn more and practice so they can overcome or correct their areas of weakness. The best feature is the computer can do all of this with or without the teachers assistance. The teacher can use the assessment or simply teach from his/her lesson plan and assign interactive exercises, homework or test that the software will then grade. Finally, the software provides a report for the teacher, principal, parent or student that explains the results of the exercise or test and indicates in what areas the student needs improvement. This same record can be maintained as an educational audit to prove what the school has done and how the child has improved under all Title programs.

Eduss is currently being utilized by school systems in Australia, Europe, Philippine and the United States. Some educators speak of the software as the new educational standard. The Today Tonight show in Australia (the equivalent to 60 Minutes in the United States) produced a segment that showcases the software from the perspectives of the principal, parent, teacher and the student. This informative piece can be seen upon request or a detailed multimedia presentation on how the software works can be found on the Internet at ABCEducateMe.com.

1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

ABCEducateMe.com/Eduss utilizes the Integrated Multi-dimensional Teaching Assistant (IMTA). This complete 3-Dimensional system is for teachers, schools, parents, but most importantly it's for the students. Students have the advantage of having their own personal learning companion available to them 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. This Teaching Assistant not only "watches" how the student learns during the assessment, it creates a personalized tutor to teach the student the "key concepts" of what they don't know. Automatically a learning schedule is set that is in full color, animated, and an interactive audio component that teaches with step-by-step help. Our goal is to help raise the overall computer literacy of the students in ever school district we can penetrate. If a family chooses ABC as the supplemental service provider, each household will be given a computer at no cost to the family that chooses us. We also will pay for one-year subscription of internet access for that same family. We offer many other services to the indivisual school system.
Teachers can enjoy the ease of how this system can be "mapped" to the methodologies utilized within each school's curriculum. The material is administered by the classroom teacher since our systems are designed "Teaching Assistants." We capitalize on the Pedagogic skills that teachers bring to the classroom and the fact that, a student learns best if the teacher is on hand and has the "tools" available to them. Teachers not only have access to "real-time" evaluations they have the freedom to never grade homework or a test again!
Parents have the ease of knowing that their child will be joining over one million students who are progressing to reach their current grade level of proficiency. We guarantee success with document performance ranging on an average of 75-85% improvement within six months. This Home-to-School-to-Home connection reinforces the methods taught in the classroom and takes the parents out of the role of having to be the "resident expert". Thus we are expanding the teacher into the home.
Lastly, teachers, schools, districts, state officials, parents and even students can receive a variety of reports documenting the topics and sub-tops the student is learning and progressing through. The Reporting Module can track the students use of the system, including date, time, exercise worked on and time spent on the exercise.
ABCEducateMe.com/Eduss delivers information to teachers they can't get anywhere else and we give them the control options of what to do with that information.
But, we don't stop there we have and outreach component that calls the students on a regular basis to provide troubleshooting, give encouragement and praise at every step of their achievement. We are committed to provide all the tools necessary to ensure the success of the child.

3. TECHNICAL PLAN

A. Evidence of Effectiveness

Eduss is in over 3000 schools. We have been research tested against the standards. We have statistics to show that kids who use our system usually come up an average of 30% on their scores within six months….in other words, if a student is scoring, on average, 40% in class, after six months, we expect them to be scoring at or above 70%. We, by contract, cannot give actual student names and scores, but we can make "School Level" statistics available.
On average, we improve a poorly performing student (20-50% range) into the 75-85% range within six months. We also guarantee improvement! Research study done by Stanford University to correlate the material (standards based) to actual questions and validity of testing against those standards. Outside the US, we did the research study at Bond University….same results!)
The system serves students across all grade levels and ability levels. The system, utilizing the 3-D Evaluation Engine for Mathematics K-7, English Grammar K-10 and the Coded Literacy System goes from K-Adult; it will assess each student's abilities according to the published standards for their grade level. When it finds concepts that the student doesn't know, it evaluates the student's responses to determine if they are missing the material because of poor keyboard skills (It moves the answers away from each other on the keyboard), then it determines if the student understands "HOW" it asked the question. (e.g.: If the system asked a horizontal addition problem, it would try a vertical addition problem and/or a simple word problem.) Once the system determines that the student doesn't actually know the material being assessed, for instance, multiplying fractions, it will take the student up the "tree root" of that concept until it finds a place where the student does know the material. THEN, it sets a tutorial to teach the student back to grade level in that concept. Once the student completes a "FULL" assessment of the material specific to his/her grade level, they, for the first time ever, get a report that not only tells them and the teacher and the parents what the student doesn't know, it also tells them when (by grade level and concept) they missed the material.
We recommend that students utilize the system every day. Since the system replaces most of what a human tutor can provide, we suggest that most students, regardless of performance level, can benefit from time spent on the system. Many schools utilize our systems for the regular school year AND they really like using our systems for "After Hours" and "Summer School" sessions because, with the on-board Teach Me module, the proctor of the after-school program doesn't HAVE to be a Math teacher. They can be a "Parent Volunteer" instead. All they have to be able to do is keep order in the room. During Summer School, many schools are finding that the systems free up the teacher to be able to do more one-on-one activities and this helps every student progress. The system serves students across all grade levels and ability levels. Mathematics is K-7, English Grammar is K-10 and the Coded Literacy System goes from K-Adult. The system, utilizing the 3-D Evaluation Engine, will assess each student's abilities according to the published standards for their grade level. THEN, the teacher has the option to let the system teach the student back to grade level or they can do it themselves. The system can be set to test students beyond their grade levels as well as work with remedial students. We have 18,000 teachers worldwide who give us input on a daily basis about our systems. Many of those 18,000 teachers are Special Ed teachers. We are releasing a new version of our Math system that will cater to "Sight impaired" students by adding a "Zoom" feature on the screen so that "portions" of the work can be shown much larger as the student works through a problem. Then, at the end of the work, the student may want to Zoom-out to see the "whole" solution. We have the ability already built-in our systems to have each problem and/or direction read out loud to the student. B. Evidence of Links Between Research and Program Design .

Our products have been research-tested in two universities: Stanford University Math Department in the US and Bond University in Australia. The US report is included in the California Learning Resource Network report on Eduss (a 9-Month evaluation process which also includes teachers, technicians and Math Standards specialists!). (Go to www.clrn.org and enter Eduss in the search screen and read the 25-page write-up on Eduss.) Eduss is the only product to have made it through the CLRN evaluation process on the first try. We also got the highest marks that they've ever given to a software product for education!
We are standards based and we allow each school and/or school district to add and/or delete methodologies to their teaching curriculum. If a student isn't "getting it" using one methodology, the teacher/school/school district has all methodologies "on board" the system that they can employ with the simple click of a mouse. In addition, if a methodology emerges, (Something "NEW"), we only require a "source" for the methodology and we can usually add that methodology to our system within three months and download it to the schools via the internet. If your state standards change, we monitor each of the US state standards on an annual basis. Any changes from one year to the next would be noted and adjusted. Updates and additions to our systems come to the schools and to the parents/students at no cost. Once the software is in place, there is never a charge for additions to the programs.

EDUSS INSTALLATION PROCESS

(The Rep's Guide)

" We usually recommend the Client-Server Installation method in the Installation Instructions for the SCHOOL INSTALLATION!

" BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION!!!!!!

o Talk to the IT person about the Client-Server Installation procedure
o Have them READ the installation manual….at least this section!
o Give them the School Disk
o Explain the UNLOCK procedure (New and/or Old).
" Old: Unlock the server and workstations while there
" New: Submit request online

" TAKE THIS WITH YOU TO THE INSTALL:

o School Disk
o Teacher Manual Disk
o 1-Copy of Teacher's Manual

" TELL THE IT PERSON:

o Make copies of Teacher's Manual for Each Teacher
o Tell them the DATE of the Teacher's Training AND that they need to attend the first part of the training to ensure that everyone can log on; then they can leave.
o TELL THEM TO INPUT A "USERNAME" AND "PASSWORD" FOR EVERY TEACHER BEFORE THE TRAINING.
o DO NOT LEAVE THE INSTALL UNTIL AN "ADMINISTRATIVE-LEVEL" ID FOR EDUSS HAS BEEN CREATED IN THE SYSTEM!
" USERNAME: Eduss(SchoolName) Example: You are installing the software at Sacred Heart School. Your "Admin" username would be: edusssacred
" PASSWORD: Same as USERNAME.
" REMEMBER: ALL LETTERS IN BOTH ARE LOWERCASE!
" STATUS: Administrator
